Website Design & Build Services
Process Overview
🛠️ Website Design and Creation Process
We follow a clear, step-by-step approach to transform ideas into a fully realised website:
1. Wireframe Stage (Outline Sketch)
A wireframe is a basic visual layout of the web page or app interface.
It focuses on:
Structure and layout
Content placement
Core functionality
No colours, fonts, or images are used at this stage — it’s purely structural.
📄 Accompanied by a written client brief to align on goals and requirements.
2. Website Build
Once the wireframe and brief are approved, we move into the complete website build:
Application of a full colour scheme
Selection of fonts and typography
Addition of images, icons, and videos as needed
- Creation of all website pages, functionality, testing, go-live process etc.
3. Responsive Layouts
The website is now adapted to multiple screen sizes:
🖥️ Desktop (PC)
📱 Mobile
📊 Tablet
Roles & Processes
📝 Client Supplied
At a minimum, a client needs to supply:
A detailed brief outlining goals, content, and key functionality
(Optional) A design wireframe – helpful for reducing project cost and time
Content copy and images. These need to be in the appropriate sizes and formats
Generic or stock images can be provided upon request
- Content copy assistance can be provided – see AI-Copy page.
🌐 Website Creation Process
Using your brief and wireframe (if supplied), I create a full, professional WordPress website.
If a wireframe is not supplied, I will design it for you, with live sharing options, so you can follow its progress.
I begin with a desktop version of the site
I apply a mix of:
Classic graphic design principles
Modern UI/UX patterns
Insights from user behaviour studies
We go through 3–4 review rounds to refine the website to be how you envisioned it
Once approved, I adapt the desktop version for:
Tablet
Mobile phones

Website Build Note
When you commit to a specific build software, you are tied to using it for the life of the website.
This means you will need to meet the ongoing support and/or costs of these specific software products.
