Case Studies

Examples of Websites I've Designed and Built

My case studies are divided into two sections: Specialist & General.

The general section features more diverse website themes.

1. Specialist Websites

1.1 Three Website Design & Build Case Studies

Explore these three coach client case studies:

  1. Basic – core coaching services
  2. Basic + Case studies
  3. Basic + Case studies + Blog

For this specialist section, I have chosen to feature personal coaches, as an example of how these might look. This does not mean I can only design and build websites for coaches.

2. General Websites

2.1 Website Case Study - Roman Catholic Church

Reviews:

  • Project sponsor – “Everyone loves the website. Thank you very much.”
  • Reviewer 1 – “One of easiest websites I’ve used to find what I want.”
  • Reviewer 2 – “That’s a great job. Congratulations!”

Objectives:

Modernise their website and to add new content.

Main Website Users:

  • Existing church members who want to know mass times, events etc.
  • New potential members who want to know where it is, how to contact them, and services offered.

Design process:

  • I gave the project sponsor a link to WordPress Themes, and asked her to pick the ones she liked. These preferences formed a basis for the new design.
  • The design aimed to meet the needs of the main two user groups, as well as giving the church an opportunity to showcase what they offer parishioners.

Testing/Reviews:

  • Problem: What’s below the Hero section did not show on small computers.
  • Solution: Reduce the vertical height of the Hero section and bring the sub-hero area into the Hero section to encourage scrolling.
